Who we are

The Fairview Restaurant opened in 1872 overlooking the Lehigh River and Canal. The Bechtel family took over in 1979 and is proud to continue its tradition for over 40 years.

At the request of our many customers, we started catering full time in 1989. Our local catering company has been expanding every few years. We have served groups of over 2,000 guests and are always happy to serve our clients for all their family events: birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, showers, and all special life moments!

We always try to help everyone we can with their event date. With over 200 events a year, it is important to schedule the date as soon as possible with us. If you can’t seem to find a local caterer with everything you want, give us a call, and let us cater your next event! We serve the Lehigh Valley’s best Cheesesteaks & burgers; enjoy it with your favorite domestic or imported beer.

Our Policies


Make Your Reservation ASAP

Make your reservation as soon as possible also following a $100 deposit to hold your date. The deposit is refundable in full up to 60 days before your event. The final payment will be due either before, or on the day of your event. BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT. Also a 15% gratuity and 6% PA sales tax will be added to all functions. We accept Master Card, Visa and Discover.

Know the Minimum

50 adult guests is the minimum guest count. Furthermore, discounts are available on some menus for children 7-12 years old. There is never a charge for children 6 years and under.

What Our Price Includes

All prices include setup, service, and paper products, plates, napkins, plastic flatware. China and silverware rentals are available.

Know Your Guest Count

Final minimum guest count and menu is due seven days before your event. With that being said, we do not guarantee brochure prices for guest counts we receive with a less than seven days notice.

What We Can Serve

Food items not prepared by us cannot be served by our staff. Likewise, any leftover food at the end of the event MUST BE PROPERLY REFRIGERATED to be left behind.
